Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it and how you can exercise your rights.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to send us through the contact and service enquiry forms:

  • your name and the email address or phone number you provide;
  • the content of your message, and optional trip details such as travel date and group size;
  • the page from which you sent the form and the time it was sent.

To protect the forms from abuse we also store a one-way, non-reversible hash derived from your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself.

To see which pages are useful, we count how many times each page is viewed per day. Only the page address, the date and the total are stored — no IP address, device details or anything that identifies you — and the session cookie described below is used only so that reloading a page is not counted twice.

The Trip Planner runs in your browser. The choices you make there are not sent to us unless you include them in an enquiry. Shared itinerary links contain your planner choices in the address, so only share them with people you trust.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your question or enquiry and, where you ask, to prepare a written travel proposal.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam.

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Cookies

The website sets two essential cookies: a session cookie, so that your entries and any error messages can be shown again if a form needs correcting, and a security token that protects the forms against cross-site request forgery. Both expire after two hours of inactivity. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. All fonts, scripts and images are served from this website itself; your browser does not contact third-party services when you read it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting booking, and to meet legal or accounting obligations. After that they are deleted.

Who we share it with

If you ask us to arrange a service that is provided by a local partner — for example a vehicle or accommodation — we share only the details that partner needs to provide it, and we tell you before doing so.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Use the contact form and choose “General question”. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. These rights apply in line with applicable Indian data-protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security

Submissions are stored on our server in a database that is not publicly accessible and can only be read by signed-in administrators. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
